Killjoy. >:[ Lol, sorry.  A dominant purple gene is super-rare, so pure purple bettas are virtually impossible to find.  At one point, there was a seller on Aquabid who was advertising his fish as being purple, and using photoshopped pictures like the one above in the auction.  In fact, I think that may *be* one of his pictures. Anyway, if you’ll notice, the inside of his gills are also purple where they should be red, the clear cover over his eye is also purple, the “shine” on his body is purple, as are the shadows, and at the very top of his spread, you can see where the artist erased just a little too far into the purple layer to show the background layer beneath.
